Frequently Asked Questions:

· What is the benefit of becoming a KToT member? Not only will you receive a discount at Conference, but you will receive all KToT newsletters and correspondence. You are also eligible for KToT Grants and Scholarships.

· How can I make sure I am a current member? Contact KToT’s Membership Chair/2nd Vice President at www.ktot.org. She can tell you your current membership status.

· My school ONLY gives Purchase Orders (P.O.’s), but KToT doesn’t accept them. What do I do? Inform your school or district of our policy to see if they will issue KToT a check. Or KToT will accept your personal check and the school can reimburse you.

· Can I make a copy of the Conference Registration form for my co-workers? Yes! We encourage you to make as many copies as you need. All we ask is that the copies are readable!

· My school does not get the funding to attend KToT until after the registration cut-off. Is there any way that we can register at the current rate? In order to process your registration, KToT must receive your registration form before the post marked deadline. Sometimes this deadline is before some districts receive their funding for the year. KToT can accept a personal check from you and your district can reimburse you when they receive their funds. If this is not an option, please contact the KToT treasurer and she will assist as much as possible.

· How Can I get a T-shirt at Conference? T-shirts are only offered to the Early Bird Registrants! In order to get one, your registration must be postmarked before the Early Bird Deadline.

· Do I have to fill out the whole Conference Registration form? If your form is left incomplete, KToT cannot process it. It is very important to fill in all of the form in a LEGIBLE manner. All information is important to the registration process.

· I do not want to give my home address or telephone number out. Do I leave the form blank? No. If you do not want to include your personal information, please include your school information. KToT uses this information when mailing you flyers about up-coming conferences, newsletters, or other KToT correspondence. KToT also uses this information to cross reference if two names are alike.

· Do I use my school email address or personal email address? That is your preference. KToT uses this address to contact you if there is any issue regarding your Registration form or to give you occasional updates from KToT. It is recommended that you provide KToT with an address that you check regularly, even during the summer months. KToT does not sell the email list to any outside source, so you will ONLY be contacted by KToT.

· Where can I get more copies of the KToT Conference flyer? You can visit the KToT website www.ktot.org and click on the State Conference tab. The entire flyer is provided on-line. You can also contact KToT’s Membership Chair/2nd Vice President.

· Do I really have to fill in all three choices on the breakout sessions? YES! If your first choice session is full, we can still try to get you into a session of your choice. If there is only one session marked; you run the risk of being randomly assigned a session. Please do not fill in the same number in all three session choices!

· What is the difference between the A/B Sessions? They are both morning sessions that are offered at different times. For example: A-1 and B-1 sessions are the exact same session given at 9:30 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. It is not necessary to attend both A - 1 and B-1. KToT attempts to catch duplicate sessions and give you one of your other choices.

· How can I make sure I get into the sessions I choose? The earlier your registration form is received, the better chances you have. The sessions are assigned on a first come, first served basis.

· Can I mail in my Membership form at the same time as my Registration form? Yes!

· I am not able to attend the conference, but have already made payment. How can I get a refund? KToT does not refund Conference Registration payments. You may let someone else attend in your space. Please let a KToT board member know of the name change before the Conference day. All board member emails are on the KToT website, www.ktot.org. Please be aware that your replacement will need to attend the sessions that have already been assigned to you.

·  What meals does KToT provide at Conference? We provide a boxed lunch on Saturday. All other meals are on your own.

·  Who can I contact if I have any other questions? You can contact any board member! All of the email addresses for the current board is on the KToT website www.ktot.org.
